Ed Rivera is a seasoned executive with a P&L record of accomplishment and functional experience in manufacturing, finance, sales, marketing and business development with companies such as Shell Chemical, Union Carbide, Amoco Chemical and Nypro, Inc. As such, he has extensive knowledge of the petrochemical value chain. He has served on the Boards of Directors for domestic and international companies and has widespread business development experience in Western Europe, Russia, Latin America and Asia. In 2000, Ed co-founded Conferos (formally BuyPlastics.com), a collaborative web-based product development platform company with a plastics vertical concentration. Conferos, partnered on an equity basis with Surgency, IBM and Parametric Technology Corporation and became the industry standard for a collaborative ASP solution set in the plastics community.
